On the Acropolis Bay map like you were playing, next time you should put the second market on the other side of the mountain so it's farther away. Regarding your question about market lover's, haha... you might find you don't need any more markets and traders than a regular game. It looks like you got a slow start because you were teaching and learning, but normally with that mod you can get markets up a few minutes sooner. Also, the resource "trickle" gets faster when you get to P2 and then again in P3.
