Most likely, it's doing a HEAD but only GET is authorised.
You can disable the check by using this in your 0repo-config.py:
0repo-config.py
def check_uploaded_archive(archive, url): pass
We should probably detect S3 endpoints and do a GET for them, terminating the connection as soon as we have the size.
