[Feature request] Vertical Tabs to Handle Multiple Notepads

I’ve been experiencing a bit of difficulty when managing many notepads or tabs. The horizontal tab layout tends to take up quite a bit of space and, as the number of tabs increases, it becomes harder to efficiently switch between them. It can sometimes feel a bit cluttered, and navigating through tabs becomes a little overwhelming.

Describe the solution you'd like

I was wondering if it might be possible to consider a vertical tab layout for the notepad tabs? This would help display more tabs in a more compact and organized manner, freeing up horizontal space for content. It would make switching between tabs smoother, especially when there are many open notepads. I also think it would be great if the vertical tabs were scrollable, in case the number of tabs exceeds the space available.
