When installing with the elasticc option, the install fails with error message Unable to find installation candidates for torch (2.5.1) because torch version 2.5.1 is not available for Intel Mac platforms.

PyTorch does not support Intel Macs anymore. The last version with x64 binaries is 2.2.0, but that version does not work properly on MacOS 14.4+. The last version that works on Intel Macs with MacOS 14.4+ is 2.1.2 (source).
