Let's have another accessibility-focused event as part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day. We did this in 2024 and 2023, and accessibility in bitcoin open-source is still not 110%, so let's keep going.
First step is to register with the accessibility day website, which I did. Once it's accepted, I will add the link here.
The format for the previous two years was to have a kick-off workshop in the morning (CET time), and then it was up to everyone individually to choose what do to. Maybe it's having more conversations, testing an application to find way to improve it, research further, individually or as a group, etc. We could do the same or change it up, let's discuss. You're invited to share your ideas and help shape this event.

Should be online, but I am not sure if @GBKS also set up something locally last year. I could only join for an hour as it was in the middle of the night for me but I believe they streamed a couple of small workshops on accessibility as well.
Once the registration is accepted and link shared here, I'd like to know more so I'll see how to help out.
It looks really interesting as accessibility is still an issue in this space.
