As reported on the Steam Workshop

Night school: Most education centers offer some sort of night school, often for adults who are studying after work to try and get some qualification. Could work akin to a custom event (but much more automated) where if there are lots of uneducated cims a night school option could be activated allowing them to study in the evenings (usually from 6-9pm).

This would be only possible with a massive change in the game's educational system, which I don't want to touch. Maybe this can be done in a separate mod.

With the Campus DLC, this would be even more useful.

Night school would start at end of day school shift, and have additional slider in mod options for end of night school shift.

I've not actually tried the DLC yet (busy with TMPE stuff) but from vague memory cims have to complete education tiers in order; eg. elementary must be done prior to secondary, which in turn must be done prior to university. And, from memory, after a certain age they are no longer eligible for education. Thus, the night school could help working cims slowly progress their education to higher tier.

Would be great if policies could be set day vs. night. The policies in question are:

  • Universal Education (campus area policy)
  • For-profit Education (city/district policy)

For example, day education could be free while night school could be for-profit.
