Contributing to Linux Installation Party - Chennai

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Linux Installation Party event in Chennai. We welcome your participation and contributions.

Getting Started

  • Ensure you have a GitHub account. If not, you can create one for free at https://github.com/join.
  • Fork this repository to your GitHub account.
  • Clone the forked repository to your local machine.

Adding Participant Information

  1. Navigate to the participants.md file.
  2. Add your name,indicate whether you have switched to Linux or not(true or false) and suggestion for upcoming event following the existing format.
  3. Save the file.

Making a Contribution

  1. Commit your changes with a descriptive commit message.
  2. Push the changes to your forked repository.
  3. Create a pull request (PR) from your forked repository to the main repository.

Code Review

Your pull request will be reviewed by our team, and we may provide feedback or request changes if necessary. Once your contribution is approved, it will be merged into the main repository.
