Issue type

  • Defect - Crash/memory corruption.
  • Defect - Non-compliance with a standards document or incorrect OS API usage.
  • Defect - Unexpected behaviour (obvious or has been verified by a project member).
  • New feature request.

Defect/Feature description

Non eduroam wifi issues after installing on a Mac. Basically the computer becomes slow and the internet works very weirdly when connecting to a normal (non-eduroam) wifi while the profile is installed. I can't access anything on google chrome, and Safari is very slow, certain applications works slowly and others don't work at all. I can't figure out exactly what the root of the issue is.

Detail of issue

Removing the profile solves all the issues, as does using LAN while the profile is installed, but WiFi generates plenty of issues. It's the "University of Copenhagen" profile.

Example of router that gives issues when connected with the eduroam profile installed: D-link DIR-842 HW:C3 FW:3.14EU - Works when connected to it using LAN, not when using WiFi. And no the WiFi name isn't eduroam, or remotely close to it, the SSID is dlink-AB18.

I realise you probably don't have all the information needed to determine what could cause the issue, but let me know what more information you would require, i have no issues running commands in the terminal and so on. I believe it's a 2017 macbook pro 13" with the newest version of macOS 13 Ventura (13.6.4)
