Make 'Powered by Gitbook' branding optional for paid plans

Currently, the documentation shows a prominent 'Powered by Gitbook' message in the bottom-left corner, even if you are on a paid plan. I understand why this message would be switched on for free plans, but please make this branding optional for paid plans.

Hey @chryder - thanks for pinging, it had slipped my mind!

Lately, we've open-sourced the rendering portion of GitBook - meaning you are more than welcome to help contribute or use the front-end as you'd like. You would be able to find the repository for this and get started here: https://github.com/GitbookIO/gitbook

While I do advise against using this for the sole purpose of removing the GitBook Logo, it is now possible.

Thank you very much for your swift reply. I appreciate this is now technically possible, but I had rather hoped that this would be implemented as a simple switch in the GUI.

100% agree, we really would like this optionally removed on pro plans within the customisation area especially when using visitor authentication for Enterprise documentation.

This is new information, and a bit unexpected given Gitbook's previous responses in this thread, but thank you.
Could Gitbook please confirm this feature here, for the benefit of others?
I may also add that I would have expected this to be a free add-on for paid plans, particularly the pro plan.

Just clarifying that we don't have an option to remove the "Powered by GitBook" watermark. There isn't an add on for this.

I asked directly last month and they reiterated what John said above - this isn't possible and they 'don't foresee any changes to this in the near future'. Disappointing.

Contact the Sales Team and they can remove it as soon as you have the Premium Package (79$/month) for your site.

Sales tells me that this is possible for 50$ per month plugin on top of the paid plans for 80$ per month.
