Decided to go with a Discussion instead of Opening a new Issue given the (lengthy) nature of rumboalla/apkupdater#465
But with the ever increasing popularity of Obtainium and the associated trust around it (and me casually dropping the report over in the mentioned Issue as part of the Discussion...) I decided to get ahead of things and mention it over here as well to (maybe) give it the attention needed to prevent it from getting users concerned/reports making the rounds and/or active (on device) warnings popping up, which gave above mentioned Discussing more attention (also noticed #462 by chance while typing this/not read yet)
Also important: rumboalla/apkupdater#479
Given that it currently only involves (edit: apparently 2 separate detections) 1 Engine flagging 'classes.dex' I'll leave it open ended, as in if this is unrelated and of no further concern, happens frequently and will resolve itself...better save than sorry hence a (less visible) Discussion instead of opening a new issue. There's a reason VT uses that many engines after all, doesn't mean shit won't hit the fan though.
A Discussion also allows to maybe get things a bit broader than the App related Issue form given that APKUpdater and Aurora Store are just part of the bigger Issue (of defenseless False Positive flaggings) in the Open Source Community.
My point -> anyone reading this aware of similar issues in their "sphere" that need more attention or got solved like Aurora Store ? More representation needed ?
Sharing how things got solved successfully might make things more streamlined and likely to be resolved more often as well.
As yes VT results (among others -> others ? -> long-time John Hammond viewer) do play a rule in (my) decision making (but that's probably an entirely different discussion).
In the end -> a clean 0 leaves less questions open than false positives.
And while this should be and stay as on topic and relevant to Obtainium as possible, Obtainium is for many the point where it all comes together after all.
If that's really not the place you'd want this to happen in @ImranR98 I'm sorry.
