Hey @mattbruv, glad you like the tools :) For your first question: First of all I just tried it out and it seems like the IW4 obj dump is currently broken because I did not migrate it to use the same code as IW5 and T6 yet 😅 The mtl referenced in the obj file is wrong so it doesnt load the materials. I will fix that but still I'd recommend using GLTF/GLB instead :) It's also an open format and well supported by most 3D apps including blender (GLB is just the binary format, so same thing but smaller, but also not readable with a text editor). You will need to dump images as well which currently unfortunately requires another command line parameter to make OAT find the iwd files with the textures😅 So your full command line will be something like this: For your second question: Unfortunately that's not possible at the moment 😅 |

First of all, a huge thank you to you guys, this project is incredible, and is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm working on a video where I'm investigating a part of the "Estate" map. I was able to extract all models and images, and I'm able to load
.obj
files in Blender. I'm curious about what the process for importing models is, as in the README there is a german shepherd which is already textured. When I load in models, they are not textured. So here are my questions:Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
