Coding Spec for Our Team

Objective

Our team's main objective is to develop and maintain a user-friendly and feature-rich application for our team events, marketing, prayertimes, settings, admin settings, activity, notifications, user profile/settings, and general touching up every area fixing bugs, completing homepage. Additionally, we will explore the possibility of implementing access control for different areas of the application.

Functional Requirements

Team Events

• Create, edit, and delete team events
• View upcoming and past events
• Add and manage attendees
• Send notifications about events

Marketing

• Create and send marketing emails
• Track email open rates and click-through rates
• Segment email recipients based on demographics and interests

Prayertimes/Prayer Screens

• Display prayer times for different locations
• Provide prayer reminders
• Allow users to set their preferred prayer times
• Display prayer screens for different prayer times

Settings/Admin Settings

• Usage statistics
• Invite new users
• Allow users to manage their account settings
• Allow administrators to manage user accounts and settings
• Allow administrators to view and manage event data
• Allow administrators to configure marketing email settings

Activity

• Track user activity on the application
• Provide insights into user behavior
• Identify trends and patterns

Notifications

• Send notifications about upcoming events and important updates
• Allow users to customize their notification preferences
• Display notifications in the user's feed

UserProfile/Settings

• Allow users to manage their profile information
• Allow users to change their password
• Allow users to unsubscribe from marketing emails

General Touching Up Every Area Fixing Bugs, Completing Homepage

• Address and fix any bugs or glitches in the application
• Enhance the user interface and user experience
• Complete the homepage with engaging content and visuals

Access Control

• Implement access control mechanisms to restrict certain features to specific user roles
