Application should be placed to system tray after close

Expected behavior

• After click close, the application should be placed in system tray and show the status (eg: remaining time of current phase)

Actual behavior

• Cannot see the status of the application after close it.

Operating System used

• Ubuntu 18.04 KDE Plasma.

I think this feature should be added to any desktop environment so the app doesn't get in the way while doing stuff.
