It's not a huge deal but isn't desirable. It would be good to know that tab is open elsewhere.

Honestly as I think about this more, this shouldn't actually be the case if the program is well implemented. As long as the RNG seed is persisted to storage - loading on multiple windows shouldn't cause state conflict.
