ANTS 1.2.0 Release

ANTS 1.2.0 is now available.

If you are using ANTS or developing ANTS or contrib applications here are a few highlights in 1.2.0 to be aware of:
• https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/ancil/ticket/2079 - LCT, river routing, river storage, and topographic index ancil generation apps migrated from ANTS to contrib as part of activities separating library code from Science applications. Apps should be unchanged, users will need to install from the new locations.
• https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/ancil/ticket/1552 - Better error message when carrying out unnecessary merge operations
• https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/ancil/ticket/2032 - prevent overwriting source files with outputs
• https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/ancil/ticket/2203 - blended orography codes now in contrib
• https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/ancil/ticket/2108 - linear regridder now produces a warning when adding NaN. Intended to highlight situation where target points lie outside the domain defined by the source points.

There is a parallel 1.2.0 tag of contrib.

This is the last planned Iris 2 series release of ANTS, the next release will be ANTS 2.0, which will carry out the upgrade to Iris 3 series in order to align with NGMS activities.

There will now be an extended freeze while trunk of both ANTS and contrib are brought up to date with Iris 3 changes (currently in testing). Developers will want to branch from that point rather than 1.2. A further announcement will follow when those changes have been committed.
