was getting false clicks by the touch sensor of the IPS Q5 screen.
I removed the TTP223 chip (both sides) and shorted pin 1 and 3 on the foot print, then I added a 10k pull-up between pin 1 and 5.
Then on the IPS-01 PCB board I removed C4 and C5 and used a 10 ohm instead (can be shorted as well) and everything works very well.
Now I was wondering, maybe we can have the pull up resistors added to the IPS-01 PCB as an optional feature. I attached a sketch for more clarity.
Thank you for this amazing project

Doing that would endanger the Q5 driver board, since it generates its own 3.3V supply independent of the one on the DMGC. In fact, I killed a Q5 driver board in this exact manner during original development.
C9 and C10 are meant to desensitize the touch inputs, if you're still getting triggers you can try upping the capacitance to 100pF
Edited the comment, mislabeled the desensitizing caps.
Also to be clear, removing the touch ICs on the driver board is perfectly fine. Originally I was going to have that as part of the process for building but didn't want people to potentially endanger a $50 screen kit if I could help it lol
Makes Total sense. I appreciate your comment and I am super thankful to your project.
One other trick I found which makes it safe[r] is to have the pull up on the IPS board done after removing the touch IC and placing two 0402 resistors directly on the pads of the touch IC. That way things should be safe for the IPS board. Anyways, I got rid of the the touch sensor once for all.
