I have never tested it myself but I came across this; the WS2811 is an IC with NeoPixel interface and the LED PWM outputs. So, a 3mm LED can be driven by it. Sorry for keeping you busy here, I should have probably used Discord for this discussion. |

I was wondering, if you would consider adding a 3mm RGB LED driven by a WS2811 IC, placed on the chain of the rest of the Neo Pixel LEDs. That would, the color and the brightness of the power LED can be adjusted too. Just an idea though.
