When trying to enter a new subspecies into the DigiApp (e.g. "Acer campestre subsp. test", the taxonrank in the database is "999 Unknown" instead of "230 subspecies". This also happens when using the abbreviation "ssp." instead of "subsp", which can both appear on folders.

Currently, this needs to be corrected manually in the database, but ideally this should be recognized automatically.

It works for variety when it is written as "var.", but "v.", which is also sometimes written on the folders, isn't recognized.
Forma ("f.") seems to work.

@RebekkaML - is this still happening?

I tried this again (with DigiApp version 1.2.0), and the issue still seems to be the same. Neither ssp. nor subsp. work.
