Pixel-Art-to-Excel

This project focuses on the conversion of a pixel art image to an Excel sheet. Using image processing tools and programming language, a script was written to analyze the pixel art image and convert it into organized data in a spreadsheet.

Requirements

To use this project, you will need to have the following installed on your computer:

Python 3
venv (for creating and activating a virtual environment)

Installation

Clone this repository to your computer

bash

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/Pixel-Art-to-Excel.git

Enter the project directory

bash

cd Pixel-Art-to-Excel

Create and activate a virtual environment with venv

bash

python3 -m venv myenv source myenv/bin/activate

Install the project dependencies from req.txt

pip install -r req.txt

Execution

Once you have completed the installation steps, you can run the main.py file to start the conversion script.

css

python main.py

Make sure to have a png image in the same folder as the main.py file for the script to process. The converted Excel sheet will be saved in the same folder with the name "output.xlsx". Customization

The script is highly customizable and can be adapted to fit different needs and types of images. Please refer to the main.py file for more information on available customization options. Note
