Looking at the output code, there's no ordering, so I'll need to add a custom ordering parameter - shouldn't take too long. Which of these sounds better?
alphabetic
president, secretary, treasurer, alphabetic
every person gets a number assigned to them so we can weight their entries manually.
other?
I'd also suggest something about length of service/seniority sort but that info will be harder to find so I'd rather not unless everyone else really loves it.
Either that, or chronologic after the officers. I have a slight preference towards alphabetic, but so long as officers are listed first, the ordering of the Directors At-Large doesn't matter much to me.
Hi,
I have gone through the codebase and have found it to be great. If this issue is still open for contribution, I would like to work on it. Can I do so and if yes then can someone please guide me in this regard? Thanks!
Hey @sankha555 - thanks so much for volunteering! I missed this earlier and @nlharris kindly just brought this to my attention. Are you still interested?
To get started - my suggestion would be to do the following:
clone the site
set up a wordpress install on your machine (To host it, I use MAMP, the mac version of apache, mysql, and php, but if you use windows you might want WAMP, or a linux setup of apache/mysql/php).
Let me know if you get that far and I can point you to the file that I think needs to be modified.
