In the past, we have discussed potential metrics that can inform the user about the connectivity of a network in a given outage state. In Phase I, we implemented GCC and highlighted it on the map. In Phase II, we will work with NEU to implement resiliency score, but this is limited to chart visualization. We should spend some effort on designing a network metric that can be visualized on the map and deliver some more meaningful information about how communities are affected by the outage state.

One idea is to visualize regional demographic data, the locations of necessary amenities in the area, and heatmaps of availability via the target network. This could be a dynamic visualization where the user selects a specific region/demographic and a type of amenity to generate the availability heatmap.
