Printer not advertised via mdnss

The application only advertises itself, but no printers (added after working around #1 with --devmode), so CUPS on another system does not see the printer.

Another snap restart and it worked, hmm

It seems that there are some oddities with Avahi. But as the Snap is working for you now, I am closing this.
