Custom Launcher, but with included button graphics

I've built a custom LG webOS remote, including custom_launchers for Netfilx, Amazon, etc.

The examples on the page show how to use regular icons and colors with the custom buttons. Is it possible to use the normally included graphics for launchers instead? The already exist and look nice. If so, is there some yaml I can look at for a guide?
