Description

Implement support for the Automatic Setup feature in Proxyman, allowing seamless interception of HTTP/HTTPS traffic from common development environments. This feature streamlines proxy configuration by automatically setting up the required environment variables or configurations.

📘 Reference Documentation:
Proxyman - Automatic Setup Guide

Acceptance Criteria

  • ✅ Implement the Automatic Setup logic based on Proxyman's official documentation.
  • ✅ Test and validate the feature with the following environments:
    • Golang
    • Node.js
    • Ruby
    • Python
    • cURL
    • Electron app
  • ✅ Confirm that Proxyman can successfully intercept HTTP/HTTPS requests from each tested environment.
  • ✅ Ensure the setup process is intuitive, with clear success/failure messages for each step.
  • ✅ Provide fallback instructions or error logs if automatic configuration fails.

Notes

  • Focus on making the setup experience as frictionless as possible for developers.
  • Consider CLI or GUI affordances depending on the platform.
