we are doing the POC for the Qumulo, in the POC we noticed Qumulo only supports exported directory quotas (e.g. a NFS exported directory like /Qumulo Storage has 100TB quota out of the 182TB total usable cluster storage space) but does NOT support user quotas (e.g. user name “User1” has a storage quota of 500GB within the 100TB /QumuloStorage NFS exported directory). my customer relies heavily on this feature (available on EMC Isilon, similarly on NetApp) for monitoring their storage usage and charge-back.
do we have any work around for this ?
Thanks & Regards,

No plans in the near future for user quotas. You could theoretically do a tree walk and look at all file owners if this is a hard requirement. Another option is to assign directories to specific owners and manage permissions to enforce that requirement.
