Hydrogen V2 Remix build on netlify failing to render routes

Hi, would appreciate any help here we can't get v2 to build on Netlify. We tried using the remix examples for Netlify but no luck. What are the specific settings needed? Thanks

Deployment on third party hosting options can be a little broken for now. Maybe @lordofthecactus has some insights on Netlify-hosting in particular.

Netlify edge workers run on Deno, so you will need to install it for local development.

@lordofthecactus I tried bringing over the changes to my repo but I get The serverBuildPath in remix.config.js must be "dist/worker/index.js". when building on Netlify.

We currently support Remix for Netlify Functions and Netlify Edge Functions. See https://github.com/netlify/remix-template. Supporting Remix for Hydrogen is a little different though and requires more investigation on our end. I think as @lordofthecactus mentions, the middleware might be the way to go, but this is all still pretty fresh.

@zanedev, this is because you are using hydrogen CLI for dev and/or build. Check your package.json for shopify hydrogen dev or shopify hydrogen build. This CLI commands are specific for oxygen + hydrogen.

You will have to use what netlify provides to have a local worker development environment. https://github.com/netlify/remix-template could be a good example of how to setup your dev environment for netlify.

@zanedev Hydrogen has strict expectations about remix.config.js values. There are a few things you’ll need to account for to get Hydrogen v2 running on Netlify, which we are packaging up for y’all nicely here (if you want to follow along): netlify/remix-compute#126
