  • Currently we have no (good) way to tell if a PR introduces a regression
  • This would be useful
  • Let's write some tests so we know this

Can you clarify what you mean by a regression?

Something works, and then it stops working, and because we don't use it much we don't notice: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regression_testing
