Only designers that think that they have a good design for the logo can please contribute. For others developers its not worth. There are many logo aspects in which you can contribute.
Our logo design is weird but if you have good ideas about it follow below steps:

- Discuss with us on comments and then we will assign you the work for this project.
There are many design formats like .ico, .png, etc. are used everywhere. If you think that the new design format will be used more then others formats only then open a issue we will discuss with you asap.
