Textbook Market is an all in one place for students across the globe to sell gently used textbooks to help other students save costs!
- Make sure you have NodeJS v18 or newer installed
- Ensure you have pnpm installed
npm i -g pnpm - Make sure you have MongoDB installed, or a docker container for MongoDB see (https://github.com/UWCodeForce/textbook-market/wiki/How-to-install-MongoDB)
- Clone the repository with
git clone https://github.com/UWCodeForce/textbook-market.git - Navigate into your newly cloned repository and run
npm ito download and setup dependencies - Run the project with
npm run dev
This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.
The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
