Outdated Markdown package in Overleaf? #251

Hello! I've been trying (and failing) to use a custom lua function to pre-process text before it is processed by the Markdown package. That process of experimentation has led me to a more specific question, so I'll make a separate post for each topic. I concluded I should try using the I suspect that might be because the version of the Markdown package loaded by Overleaf from TeX Live 2022 is outdated, and might predate the implementation of the

Hello, @michaelstepner. As you discovered, Overleaf tends to use outdated TeX Live images. To use the current version of the Markdown package on Overleaf, you can add a copy of the package to your Overleaf project. Sections Installation and Portable installation of the user manual outline the necessary steps. |
