The sftp bulk source connector should support reading compressed files like the file source connector. I have made some hacky changes to the
get_fileandopen_filemethods for the existingSourceSFTPBulkStreamReaderto fulfil our immediate needs but would love to see this feature implemented in the marketplace connector.Would be happy to contribute.
