Proxy works on Telegram Desktop (Windows) but not on Android Telegram #287

I'm trying to set up and use the same set of proxies on both PC and my phone. However, the proxies only work on PC and don't connect on Android. I deactivated the proxy on PC and checked whether it connects on the phone to see if they only connect on one device at a time; it still doesn't work. I use the same internet connection on both phone and PC and I updated both to the latest version.
What seems to be the problem?
