Update your production and Sandbox Braintree SDK version

We have been recently receiving the email from PayPal regarding the SDK update - "Please note that SSL Certificates need to be updated by June 30, 2025 not January 30, 2025."

Also they have the following warnings in their documentation
"important
The SSL certificates for all Braintree SDKs are set to expire by June 30, 2025. This will impact published versions of your app if they utilize older versions of the SDK. To reduce the impact, upgrade to the minimum required version detailed below. Starting with those, all new versions of the SDKs will contain new valid SSL certificates.

If you do not decommission your app versions that include the older SDK versions or force upgrade your app with the updated certificates by the expiration date, 100% of your customer traffic will fail."

I belive that the current braintree SDK currently is 6.3.0: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-woocommerce/blob/release/classes/lib/lib/Braintree/Version.php

Is there an SDK update already on the roadmap?

Yes, we have an internal ticket for this, and we'll be getting it released in plenty of time for this. I'll be sure to update you here when it's ready. Thanks!
