We need this adjustment to standardize the release process for Canary versions. While we could choose to leave things as they are, I believe addressing this issue early on, given that we are still in the project's initial stages, would be beneficial. The missing
1.0.0-canary.0
can also be treated as the first internal development version.Proposal
After the first
latest
release, we can adjust the release process to ensure it starts from1.0.1-canary.0
instead of1.0.1-canary.1
