ArmorPaint Application not executing on Windows

I am using windows.

I am attempting to run the exe application for armorpaint newest version from the most recent github. I have completed all the github steps in order to get this file, and when i double click it does the blue loading circle then does not open any software. Tried restarting, etc..

Would appreciate help to get this running!

The armorpaint.exe must be copied into the krom folder or recently into the out folder. Then it works.

I dont have the Krom folder

Excuse me. I must have expressed myself unclearly. ArmorPaint.exe must be in the out folder. In the video the folder is still called krom but now it is called out. The folder is identical, it can be found in the same place, but the name is now out.
--> armortools/armorpaint/build/out
If armorpaint.exe is in this folder, then it runs.

Thanks, this finally got ArmorPaint working on Windows for me. However I did the same thing with ArmorLab and it's not quite working yet. It did make some difference, instead of getting an error message when trying to open Armorlab, it opens a window that crashes after a second or two. Is there another file that needs copied for that one?

My last ArmorLab version (2024-11-14) starts but crashes as soon as it is supposed to process something (GPU and CPU).
What works well for me in W10: ArmorLab version 0.1. It is built from armortools 23.08 and 23.09.
This definitely works: Photo to PBR (GPU), Text to Photo (CPU), Inpaint Node (CPU).
If it only works on the CPU, then ArmorLab will of course need a few minutes to finish calculating.

I will soon write instructions on how to get to version 0.1 in W10, W11 and Linux.

At the moment you could use my instructions for ArmorPaint 0.9 and then compile ArmorLab afterwards.
On Windows you still have to move the models (onnx files) into the data folder for it to work.
With Linux you also have to copy the models (onnx files) into the data folder.
In Linux, the start command still needs to be changed: --> #1675 (comment)
But then it also works in Linux.
