Hi All, I am trying to do a in-place reinstall of windows 11 (alternative to repair install via settings). Today all of a sudden, my windows updates started to get blocked. I tried repair install via the system >recovery > reinstall option, I get the "does not meet minimum requirements messages" and set up stops. I tried using the FlyBy11 tool, server update method. The setup greys out options to keep files, apps, settings . I have tried changing the language and region options to match my download but the options stay greyed out.
Anyone have any advice. Thanks in advance.
repair error

[EDIT] Sorry I hadn't seen in you original post that you actually already checked the language version :(
Hello,
Is it possible that you are trying to upgrade to/from a different language from which you originally have installed Windows 10 ?
I think for example if you got your PC with Spanish and try to upgrade using the English ISO, it won't allow to perform the upgrade. This also applies if you used a language pack I believe.
Make sure that if it is English that you use exactly the same reginal one.

Hi All,
After spending a whole week, trying to figure all this out, managed to get Windows back up, I did not use Flyby11 in the end. I have managed to fix my problem a different way.
I had to enable secure boot, TPM 1.2 (not 2), change the format of my SSD, from MBR to GPT with Easeus Partition Master (none of the microsoft forum methods worked), Create a UEFI partition on my main OS drive. I had messed up the boot partition while converting from MBR to GPT. The way I previously checked my installed language version was incorrect. The one below helped me find the correct version.
With elevated command prompt and > DISM /online /get-intl I found out that my installed OS was Win11 en-GB version and I was trying to install en-US.
I had to download the correct version en-GB 24H2 and it passed all the installer checks, it finally works now. I am on 24H2 with updates working.

I had a similar problem with a pre installed Windows on one of my devices. I wanted to install Windows 11 in german and my current OS was changed to German by hand already. But the install language was still set to American English. I fixed this by following that solution https://superuser.com/questions/1725144/how-to-change-language-of-windows-11-single-language-without-format
