Hi Christophe,
I just wanted to start by thanking you for db48. It is really awesome, and what you have achieved so far with it is really impressive. I ran into the hacker news post and since then, I've already purchased a DM42n and am now running db48 on it. I've started scanning through the code and realizing how much work went into this. Db48 is definitely going to be a step upgrade over the hp48, the open nature of it is one more advantage.
Also I was very pleased to see the secret menu with the Maubert Electronique dedicace. I was one of the kids who regularly took the Metro to Maubert Mutualite just to come and discuss / exchange apps on the HP48, code in assembly, and you were certainly already known back then, we might have ran into each other, but I was of the timid kind.
Anyways, I have already written some unit tests for little issues that I see here and there and will try to submit them and possibly if time permits (as I get more familiar with the code base) with the associated fixes.
