Select the creation of new correspondents and tags independently

I should be able to select the creation of new correspondents and tags independently. I have a logic in my tags, that I would not like to extend automatically. But new correspondents can happen every day.

Extend the selection list in the settings with „only correspondents“ and „only tags“.

Would also love this. I spent an hour organising my tags to realise that I need to lose the useful Correspondence facility!

I have not tested it, but shouldnt it might work just to limit the tags via prompt? "only use one of following tags:"?

So add all the tags? That is possible - but would require me to remember to add a tag to that list in the future if I add a new one!

I've tried that. It doesn't work very well and new tags still get added. I've tried several models with Ollama as well as with OpenAI. Specifying your own list of tags works better than setting it to use existing tags in the settings page but the LLM still ignores the request some of the time.

I ended up manually changing the prompt to include something along the lines of: “Only include tags within the following categories: Tag 1, Tag 2…” – and that works, but obviously involves updating the prompt everytime. The feature to choose if you want no tags, no correspondents or nothing of both will come in the next 1-2days probally.

I’ve tried that too and it works most, but not all of the time. For example, I tried it on a receipt and it added “Retail” and “Receipt”, neither of which I have in my tag list. This was true with every Ollama model I tried as well as OpenAI 4O-mini

What you mean? You can already use existing tags.
