How does manual processing work together with automatic processing and history?

Automatic only happens for me when I assign a specific tag. I had 2 docs with that tag. They were processed. I tweaked my prompt, deleted them from the history and manually processed them.

Now they do not show in the history, how can I “unprocess” so that automatic processing pick them up again?

I already said it does work as you said. As I said above, I told paperless-ai to only process documents with a specific tag. It does that. It reflects in the history.
I can remove processed docs from the history.
I can also process them manually.

What I asked was why manually processed documents are not shown in my history. Is there a problem here or are they not supposed to be shown there?

The manual page won't add any documents to the history.

Thanks for confirming it's not a problem on my side. Is this decision to not add manual processing to the history by design or a bug?

If I change my prompt after several tests and have settled on a new one, I can apply it to all documents which were auto processed by emptying the history but all those I manually processed, I have to manually process again? Is this correct?
