Enhancement / Feature Request: Can you add functionality to "check" the code without solving the problem

Hi,

One of the options in glpsol is --check.

$ glpsol --help | grep "\-\-check"
   --check           do not solve problem, check input data only

Will you be able to provide functionality and key-binding that only checks the input data without solving the problem.

I know one could add "--check" to buffer-local variables using C-c C-a gmpl-glpsol-solve-dwim but toggling it frequently breaks the thought train while coding.
