  1. I'm not convinced that the MOTD should either be a first menu item, blinking, abbreviated or be on the page at all. Almost all information is better conveyed through the homepage and not an ingame popup with tiny font. Maybe I need to be reminded of the actual purpose of it, but i see it as a unnecessary and ugly distraction. The only sensible thing might be to either inform the player of a new version, or another really imporant event or change. But even than a one-time notification would suffice. A permanent notification of the same "news" for weeks is an annoyance.
  2. Recordings are probably relevant to about 0.1% of all players and can therefore be put anywhere out of the way. I'd suggest a tab in the "OPTIONS" menu.
  3. The Shortcuts are switched, F11 is the World Editor.
  4. I would completely remove that text. Supposed we truly think the game is crappy and nobody should even expect anything from it in the first place we should come up with the attitude before the download. Rubbing it in the eyes of people that are keen to test anyway would then be senseless.
If - for whatever reason - that hazardous warning needs to remain in the game I propose to make it a one-time notification too.

I mostly agree, although the MOTD has some use I think. However the abbreviation isn't clear to everyone and maybe it should only show (pop up?) if there are actual news?
