What happened?

The Privacy Button...

  • It is visible sometimes. I don't know what triggers it to be visible.
  • It is way to big and invasive when it's visible. Why is it so important?
  • What does it do? Disable tracking... OK, explain or put it in the FAQ. The FAQ is top vague. Does it effect all plugins?
  • How do you disable it?

This feels like a feature that's not ready and got turned on by mistake.

Privacy mode is supposed to be something similar to incognito mode in browsers. A quick way to browse without any connectivity being linked to your accounts to which you are signed in.

It is visible sometimes. I don't know what triggers it to be visible.

It should be always visible when not in full screen mode in bottom left corner.

It is way to big and invasive when it's visible. Why is it so important?

It servers both as indicator and a way to exit privacy mode. Doesn't block too much content and when you are in full screen it is hidden.

What does it do? Disable tracking... OK, explain or put it in the FAQ. The FAQ is top vague. Does it effect all plugins?

When you try to enable it, there should be a short description of what it does which I also described a bit in the beginning of this comment.

How do you disable it?

Click again on the privacy mode icon on the bottom left and it's going to ask you to disable it.
