Instillation Process Hanging @Please wait, configuring the system...

When installing in my online production environment the process is hanging at "Please wait, configuring the system...". I then tried installing it in a local test environment and got the errors below.

• "Warning: Constant ROOT already defined in C:\xampp\htdocs\parfumvault\inc\opendb.php on line 3"
• "Warning: Constant ROOT already defined in C:\xampp\htdocs\parfumvault\install.php"

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Follow the steps to clone from the source.
2. Create a blank MySQL DB.
3. Enter Credentials.
4. Click "Save!".

Expected behavior
The database tables are created and instillation process proceeds as intended.

Platforms like XAMPP etc are not supported. For windows environments, docker is recommended instead.
