I have the lucky misfortune of being on apple silicon. It seems that simpleaudio on which jes4py depends is no longer being maintained 😭. Right now it's not available for my arch, so I have to edit media.py and comment out sound stuff (simpleaudio import and the global sound functions) to be able to use jes4py.

Might there be an alternative to simpleaudio that you know of that is still being maintained?
