Recently we have come across a new issue with our SSL. We had been using the cafile provided by default by OpenSSL on our PHP Docker instance but in the new year one of the core external services, namely the European Central Bank, seems to have updated their SSL certificate, which is no longer trusted by OpenSSL as default.
After internal discussion, the development team has agreed to place a temporary solution until the ECB certificate gets trusted by default by OpenSSL again.
