You should perhaps educate yourself on what the 'Me Too' movement is. Non-consensual sex IS sexual assault and differs greatly from bad sex. Please reflect on your life choices that have led you here.

I respect your advocacy to make this space more welcoming and inclusive. However, it seems the eventual result of such aggressive policing will be social environments devoid of any humor which could be 1% triggering to any conceivable sensibility.

I find this acknowledgement of perception differentials ironic, since it is being supported with articles that pathologize tone-deaf men for producing awkward sexual encounters.

Geez, it's just an old programmers joke, not a serious statement about the quality/absence of sex.

I put it there on purpose, to communicate the sense of imperfection, informality and incompleteness, which I like.
It's meant to say: "Look, I'm a smol indie project, maintained by one hobbyist musician in his spare time, with unfinished parts here and there, and docs being far from perfection. And I'm independent enough so I can afford a silly joke on the front page. Don't expect too much and have fun."

The issue is irrelevant to the quality of product or its delivery. If you want to be an "ally", please pick battles where they actually matter. Your local community needs it more than this project does and it might be prudent to apply yourself there. Perhaps consulting with women in IT in your area will further help you develop a healthy outlet for your need to correct others.

Moreover, "bad sex" in question is not a rape joke, sir, I write fiction as a hobby AND I have had sex (I understand if you yourself might be involuntarily celibate). "Bad sex" is inept and inexperienced but not necessarily malicious, as was contextually implied here. Just as this project, it can get better. Perhaps addition of a tone might be nece for you specifically, as you have taken the /jk for /srs.

Look, I commented here because I thought this was a cool-looking project that I might like to be involved in, that was let down by a poorly thought out comment on the front page. I made the assumption that you would not want to offend potential users and collaborators and might want to appeal to a diverse audience.

Almost all of these assumptions were wrong, and I clearly do not wish to be involved here. Good day.
