How did you guys make shadow for your components? (Glow in dark mode)

I've been inspecting CSS for Pagination component with showShadow and without showShadow and it's practically the same CSS. I couldn't find any computed CSS for this cool glow effect. I basically wanted to replicate it in my own components but I don't know how you did it, disabling styles still shows this cool glow. You didn't override any shadow tailwind classes for dark mode from what I can tell. So when I use shadow-sm it's invisible in dark mode. Whats the trick?
