Saving delay in extension

Seeing a save delay in the extension for the past day or so. Does not seem to be affecting the main site. It says sites are saving, but the counter never updates, though the sites do seem to get saved eventually.

Seems to be something is broken with extension, in my case it doesn't work at all, while direct saving on website is working +- fine.

Any thoughts? @cgorringe

Still seeing a lot of slowness with the extension for long periods of the day that doesn't seem to be affecting the website. @cgorringe
