Hello. I have a Mac Mini with just 256GB of local storage, so as I set up Mountain Duck, I'd like to be sure all files of any size are stored on my external drive. Do I need to change both the cache location as well as the mount location, or just one of them, in order to do this? I searched for info regarding external drives but didn't find anything, and the documentation says how to change the cache/mount locations but doesn't seem to cover the "how to avoid filling up your local storage" question. Thanks! |

You want to change the cache location to a folder on the external disk. The mount point does not any physical disk space. |
