How to load programs

Hi,

I just got trhe Akai MPK mini mk2 and want to use it with Bitwig 5.2 on Linux. The controller script works but I can not use the knobs. How can I load the programs onto my device? I do not understand what you mean with the MPK MkII Editor.

Okay, I found this program: https://github.com/PiOverFour/MPK-M2-editor
With it I was able to load program1 to 4 into the controller. But the knobs still do not work. Or I do not know for what they should work. I want to control the knobs of the current device with them. Is that possible?

Now I have the problem that pads should be on channel 2 and keys on channel 1. But both seem to send on channel 1. Any ideas?

Here you can find the official editor for the mpk mini mkii. You need wine to run it on linux. Maybe the editor you found is fine too.

I wrote this script for bitwig studio 3 and have only ever used it in 3, so I can imagine that it wouldn't work in 4 or 5. If I ever get a new subscription then I will probably look into it but until then I can't help, sorry. (or it could just be some existing bugs that I never noticed 🤷 )
